I love my wife.
I don't need any reason for it.
But there would be plenty.

One of them?
She challenges my assumptions as they start to form.
So that I can reconsider what I'm thinking and feeling and decide:
- to drop it as an idea and choose to think and feel something else (we talked this on the Masterclass #2 Emotional Fitness on Thursday)
- or to hold onto it.
​
Recent example?
You see, a month ago I made a decision - to start going to the gym every day.
Here's what I do:
- Wake up before 6
- Drink 500 ml of water with salt
- Get my morning priming in to get into the state I want
- Dress up and walk 3 min to the gym (very convenient - btw. I mentioned this word in the Masterclass too, remember?)
- Be there when the gym opens at 6:30
- Go for a walk and be home by 7:30
Feeling accomplished.
Feeling in control.
Feeling amazing.

But yesterday I share this with Maia (my wife):
"I move much more weight than I used to. I guess I'm going to take it easy - maybe exercise less, or take breaks, or maybe even skip a day."
​
To which she says:
"Maybe what you want is to NOT take it easy.
Maybe you want to double down and just keep going.
You tried taking it easy in the past and where did it get you?"
​
And I hear the truth - right there and then.
As I listen, she reminds me of something else:
​
You see, 2 months ago I attended the "Unleash the Power Within" by Tony Robbins.
It was phenomenal!
The goal of the event?
- To "exterminate" 3 limiting beliefs
- To make 2 big decisions
- To live in 1 type of state
Did I achieve the goal?
Hell yes!
​
But why?
1 word: Immersion.
​
It wasn't learning something new for 1 hour a week in 52 weeks.
It was learning and practicing and feeling it in the same time across 4 days.
Full body & mind immersion.
​
That's when I knew - going hard IS the answer.
Going beyond what's comfortable IS the answer.
Taking MASSIVE action IS (and always will be) the answer.
​
That's why I'm doing D.E.S.I.R.E. in the similar format.
Not "healing" your attachment style in the therapy for years.
Not "talking" about your inner child wound and generational trauma for months.
But "shifting" your entire being from wherever you are to LOVE LEADER in 6 weeks.

What did I learn on Masterclass #1?
That my plan was to go for 1.5 hours...
that I went for almost 2.5...
and it wasn't enough.

So I added Workshop.
Not just in week 1.
To EVERY week.

I'm happy she challenged me yesterday.

And I'm exhausted.
But I love her for speaking up.
And I love myself for having open mind and changing my assumptions.
